Season starts on a high!

What a great start from the guys today!

We played 13 a side as Mosborough were short today, which meant more players started on the bench and some were playing away from their ideal position. Add on top of this that Matt and Sam were out injured, the performance was even more impressive.

Everyone filled their shirt today and played their socks off, it wasn't until afterwards that I realised we'd played a full 80 minute game......oops! The fact that we could probably played another 20 minutes, shows how much our fitness has improved. It would be really unfair to single any player out today as everyone did their job and then some!!! We have some interesting selection debates to have now as some of the guys have displayed attributes in other positions now too, so it's a great problem to have.

Credit to Mosborough as well for giving us a hell of a game. It was full-on, committed and played in the right spirit.....I would happily have paid to watch that game, it was a fantastic example of youth rugby and both sides should be proud of themselves.

Onwards now to the next training session and all eyes towards Dronfield in 2 weeks!
