Close Match - Physical game - some of the best Rugby the boys have ever played.

Panthers put up a strong performance against a large and physical valley colts side.

The game started at a high tempo from valley with some excellent defense from panthers. Both teams battled hard for possession, with a few mistakes made by panthers and some very dubious calls from the " official referee" valley went into the half 21-10 up.

Panthers came out in the 2nd half fired up, running some good strong lines at the defence and putting valley on the back foot gave Madison Peach an opportunity to run and shimmy through the valley defence.

The restart was taken well by the panthers forwards taking it straight back to valley pinning them back In their 22m, panthers looked to play a wide ball out to the backs failed as their number 10 was barely back onside from the last breakdown intercepted to score.

The restart again with great work from panthers pinning valley back on their 5m line, valley somehow managed to turn it over "on the floor" to counter attack only for captain Mads to read the pass and intercept and with some fancy footwork dotted down under the posts.

The restart came again and once again the panthers forwards showed their dominance against a much larger pack and punched holes in the valley defence pushing right up to the valley 5m for Ben Matthews to score a brilliant worked try.

There was just enough time for the restart and true to the panthers they took it well and put pressure on the Valley defence. With no time left the backs shipped it wide to the wing with Noah breaking down the far side only to be tackled into touch by a scrambled defence with that calling the end to the game at 26-21? fantastic work from all the lads,. Put a massive shift in and not one lad stepped backwards against a physical valley side.

Madison Peach and Ben Matthews
