Having finished as runners up in the previous two seasons, the U18 team finally achieved the top spot in the NLD Conference Cup. In a hard fought Cup final match between the top two teams from the league-phase of the competition, our girls represented in the Derbyshire Dragons cluster carved out a hard fought 31-17 victory over the Kesteven / Peterborough cluster.

On International Woman’s Day, the match was a fantastic advert for girls’ rugby in NLD with momentum swinging both ways over the course of the game.
