We always knew we were going to have a strong side this season at U18. With several county players in the group and one on the England Developing player pathway, there is no doubt we have some talented individuals. However, many of these ladies have played together since they were minis and the strength of team spirt gives that extra boost to everyone's performance. Add to that a dedicated and consistent coaching team and there is the foundation for the success we are seeing.
Having come second in their group in the pool stages of the RFU National Cup, they have progressed through the regional stages. The Semi-finals took place last weekend and have resulted in a Northern regional final between Chesterfield Panthers and Selby. This will be hosted at Chesterfield's grounds on 1st March. 1400 KO. Its set to be a great display of senior girls' rugby. All are welcome to come down and support your local girls who hope to bring home the win for Club and County.
