Panthers cut Giants down to size!!

Chesterfield Panthers 1st played host to league new comers Giants. Despite the absence of quite a few players Panthers dominated the match. The forwards pressured the visitors in all areas of the pitch. Dominant in the scrum, rucks and mawls. Panthers where quicker to the breakdown and turned the ball over several times, with Tom Rice at 7 dominant. Acting scrum half Tye Rose had a great game as did Andy Hughes. Rob Collins at 10 dominated the back line, his distribution at times was amazing.
The game was played in 4 20x minuet spells. Much credit to Woodhouse Giants who played with conviction but on the day where outclassed.
