Blues: T:Lee Laughton, Chris Windle

This game was organised as a training game, some pitch time for every player, and with the teams picked as close to the starting 1st and 2nd as possible, it looked a fanastic game, and it proved.
With 4 20 mins agreed as the playing time, and Fred Pell, officating in the middle the game started and with much of the play going evenly to both sides with 0-0 at the first 20, Danny Chapman for the reds drew the first score from close support and some good drives foe Ant Barnet to add the extras.
With the score line staying the same with some excellent defending from the blues, who at times where under some very good pressure from the Reds. Ant Barnet adding a penalty, 10-0 half time.
With some changes at half time to mixed thing up, the Reds looked to move clear and Simmo scored the next try with an excellent switch in the middle between Tom and Luke, giving Luke space and time to sprint in on the wing and then under the post with luke adding the extras. The Blues wouldn't give up and from a good scrum, Lee Laughton got the pooed to him and he started to rumble and found some space and power he wasn't to be stopped and scored a lovely try, Ant Barnet added the extras. With the game getting faster and faster, Tom Arnold manages to scrap free in the centres to score with Luke converting. From the restart the reds were caught napping and Chris Windle made them pay with a try in the corner, from excellent play in the forwards with good play retention. The score came from the Reds, who from a penalty ran the ball to the other side of the field, set up a good ruck and instead of using the over lap of 4 to 1 men, Luke saw a gap and sprinted through to score.
Some really good rug by was played by both side which playes well for the coming season, either in the 1st team or the 2nds.
Every player should be very pleased with today's performance.

well dome lads.
