On a very hot day both teams served up a cracking game of rugby,with skegness scoring first on 12 minutes 7-0,but within a minute chesterfield responded with a try from chris brailsford on 13 minutes 7-5,then with a lovely side stepping treat jordan grayson ran through the middle of the home teams defense to score a try under the posts and iain taylor converting 7-12 HT,then with good support play between iain taylor off-loading to danny shum for him to score 10-17 then skegness responded with 2 further tries,the second one coming on the 73rd minute 24-17, within minutes a good run from liam charlesworth to go over the try line and iain taylor converted to make it 24-24,but with 30 seconds to go the home team scored a cruel try to deny chesterfield a draw in which they deserved on this performance, this was a very good performance from a bunch of players that have only played 2 games at the side of each other and are getting better and better well played to all.
