Mansfield 2's 20 vs 31 Chesterfield Panthers 2's

Chesterfield started the better and within 10 mins after some good hands Mathew I so smooth Upton danced his way though to put us 5-0 up then Adam the kicker Pedley slotted the extra 2 points. The scrums was pretty much even and when Chesterfield got a penalty Jake Kebab for breakfast Blair tapped it quick and it went though hands until Lee no carbs Freeman dove over the line and with Adam making it 2 from 2 the score was 14 - 0 after 22 mins. Mansfield was trying there best to break thought but Kyle the brick wall Viveiros was tackling everyone that moved and on 25 min mark Pedders converted a penalty to make it 17 -0 to the visitors. Jake Kebab for breakfast Blair then scored a try but the Ref had other ideas and disallowed it for some unknown reason, Mansfield then stepped there game up and with quick hands got two very quick trys to make it 17 - 10 at half time.

Mansfield started the second half how they ended the first and with a driving maul off a line out then pulled the score back to 17 -15. Chesterfield then put the pressure back on with some great runs from Paul I'm really fast Giller then Jake Blair manged to grab a well deserved try and pedders making it 24 - 15 with 20 mins to go. Mansfield number 12 who caused us problems all day broke thought are defence to bring the score to 24 - 20 in a nail biting 10 mins. Chesterfield didn't sit back and after a few scrums number 8 Richard the captain Keeling picked up from the scrum offloaded to Jordan wee man Grayson and after a few rucks Kyle the brick wall Viveiros dove over the line to end Mansfields hopes of a come back and pedders making the final score 31 - 20.
