The Under 16’s are a friendly bunch of boys and will always give a warm reception to any potential new recruits. It’s never too late to start your rugby journey and we are always keen to welcome new players of all standards from those who have never picked up a ball to those more experienced players.

So, if you want to find out what it’s all about, why don't you come down to the club and have a chat with one of the coaching staff, and hopefully give it go….

We usually train and play games on Sundays from 11:30 to 13:00 and also train on Tuesday evenings from 18:30 to 19:30 (weather permitting).

All players are taught the core rugby skills to enable them to play the game in a safe way for both themselves and others. Whilst doing so they will also be encouraged to adopt the core values of rugby, those being Teamwork, Respect, Enjoyment, Discipline and Sportsmanship.

To qualify to play for the Under 16's boys need to be age 15 at the start of the season i.e. 1st September (school year 11).
