The Under 9’s is a fun and friendly squad who are always happy to welcome new boys and girls along to have a taster session or two and see if you’d like to join in on a more permanent basis.

Our main focus is for the kids to have fun whilst also incorporating the fundamental movement skills (Agility, Balance, Coordination and Speed) and the core values of rugby union (Teamwork, Respect, Enjoyment, Discipline and Sportsmanship) into the sessions.

As U9s the kids begin to develop the first stages of contact, which as U9s is limited to tackling. Starting in a controlled environment, focusing on technique, we gradually develop the skills required to ensure the kids are ready to play in a game situation.

We have training sessions and play games against local teams on Sundays mornings between 09:30 and 11:00ish and are always looking for new players to join our team.
